István Anhalt

István Anhalt

István Anhalt (born April 12, 1919, Budapest) is a Canadian composer.

In 2003, he was made an Officer of the Order of Canada. In 2007, he was made a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada.

Selections from his correspondence with American composer George Rochberg were published in 2007 by Wilfrid Laurier University Press (Gillmor, 2007).
