Beatrice Farve

Beatrice Farve (born April 30, 1895) is an American supercentenarian who is currently, at age 113, the world's fifth-oldest verified person. She is the fourth-oldest in the U.S. and the second-oldest African American behind California resident Gertrude Baines. Farve is the oldest person living in Georgia although not the oldest living person to be born there, as Baines was also born there. The all time record holder for the state of Georgia is another African American woman, Carrie Lazenby (1882-1996), who lived to the age of 114 years and 218 days.
