Scubapro

Scubapro

Scubapro was a firm which makes scuba gear. It was formed in the United States in the early 1960s and is well-known for making diving regulators and buoyancy compensators.

Scubapro created the first "stab Jacket", a vest type buoyancy compensator, in 1971 and the first analogue "decompression meter", a forerunner of the dive computer, in 1966.

Scubapro merged with Uwatec and is now owned by Johnson Outdoors.
