George Isaac Huntingford

George Isaac Huntingford (1748-1832), bishop successively of Gloucester and Hereford; fellow of New College, Oxford, 1770; M.A., 1776; D.D., 1793; warden of Winchester College, 1789-1832; bishop of Gloucester, 1802-1815, of Hereford, 1815-32; compiled account of his friend Henry Addington's administration, 1802; published also "Short Introduction to Writing of Greek" (frequently reissued), original Latin and Greek verse, and pamphlets.
