"The Black Cherry Bombshells" is a web based graphic novel from DC imprint Zuda Comics, created by Johnny Zito and Tony Trov and illustrated by Sacha Borisich.

Premise

'The Black Cherry Bombshells' is the tale of ultra-violent girl gangs fighting for survival in a world where every man on Earth has been mutated into a flesh-eating zombie.

Plot

In the near future, the wild, tattooed bootleggers known as the Black Cherry Bombshells incur the ire of Las Vegas crime boss "The King," a female "Old Elvis" impersonator who has a shady history with the Bombshells' leader, Regina. The King plants an agent, Megan, within the Bombshells, with orders to kill Regina. But Megan, a former magician and escape artist, demurs from murder.

Red is the Bombshells' second-in-command, and the lover of Frankie, a Raggedy Ann-looking woman who carries a rag doll named Black Jack that she uses as a bludgeon against zombies. Angel is the Latina with a chip on her shoulder, who trust virtually no one.

Complicating matters are butch-thug gang the Chainsaw Sallys; the Robot Sepaku, another gang, led by Yoshi and her lieutenant Xin; and all the gangs' mutual nemeses, the all-male zombies — humans turned by a virus carried on the Y chromosome that took over their nervous system and turned them into mindless, flesh-eating creatures.
