Parimarjan Negi (born
9 February 1993 ) is a 15-year-oldchess prodigy fromIndia . In July 2005, he earned his third and finalInternational Master norm at the Sort International open chess tournament in Sort,Spain . On1 July 2006 , at the age of 13 years, 4 months, and 22 days, he became the second youngestInternational Grandmaster (GM) ever, second only toSergey Karjakin , when he earned his third and final GM norm at the Chelyabinsk Region Superfinal Championship at Satka inRussia .
