Bret Baier is the
Fox News Channel 's chiefWhite House correspondent , based inWashington, D.C . He previously was the network's Pentagon correspondent.Joining Fox News in 1998, Baier has covered a number of stories including the
September 11th attacks , theKosovo War ,the invasion of Iraq, and the latest about the current occupation of Iraq, andWar on Terrorism .In addition, he has also been a guest host for "
Weekend Live " and one of the rotating hosts of "The Big Story Primetime."Baier attended
DePauw University , class of 1992. He was a member ofSigma Chi fraternity.Baier was at one time a resident of
Hilton Head Island ,South Carolina .Baier and his wife, Amy, have a son, Paul (b. July 2007), who was born with a potentially fatal
