Tamara Jolee

Tamara Jolee (born Tamara J. Metcalfe on February 26, 1980 in Dallas, Texas) is an American television reporter for KETK-TV (NBC) and Fox News East Texas.

Early years

Jolee was a four-sport athlete at Midlothian High School, competing in basketball, cross-country, softball and volleyball. Made her broadcasting debut as the city's first radio announcer on the local station. Appeared in a national electronics commercial and played the main character in a restaurant commercial. During college, she broadcast sports and news for KTXT 88.1 FM in Lubbock.

Education

Jolee graduated from Texas Tech University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in broadcast journalism and English.

Professional career

Represented professional and college athletes as a sports publicist. Worked for USA Basketball, Women's Basketball Coaches Association, Pepperdine University, Florida State University and Texas Christian University. Logged time with national sports networks like Fox Sports, ESPN and CBS Sports. Covered the 2002 Pan American Games with USA Basketball.
