The Shizuoka Bank was established on
1 March 1943 with the merger of the Shizuoka Sanjyu-go Ginkō and the Enshu Ginkō. It has been listed on theTokyo Stock Exchange since October 1961. It maintains strong ties to theMitsubishi UFJ Financial Group throughjoint venture subsidiaries forcredit card s and stock brokerage. Its New York branch was located in the New YorkWorld Trade Center at the time of theSeptember 11, 2001 attacks , but none of its employees were killed.External links
