Birkur does not depend on government promises, but self sustained with lakes, some on Manjeera river, Nizamsagar canal and more on borewells.
What Birkur wants:
Birkur needs large investments in industrial development in $4 to 6 billion to industrialize Birkur and set new dimensions. This should make Birkur a industrial place in the district. Birkur needs a railway line, and a terminal to serve the future purpose of daily passengers of around 20,000 per day and thousands of tonnes of cargo to nearest airports and sea ports.
