Perry has been involved in the creation of programmable logic, online services, Internet access, multiplayer games, VOIP, and most recently programmable packet inspection. Amongst others, Perry has been involved in the creation of Xilinx, Mpath, eWorld, Sitesmith, Alibris, and more recently, Cloudshield, Enkata, Persist, and WireCache. He has been an investment professional at Accel Partners, Bedrock Capital, and most recently as a General Partner at ComVentures. Earlier in his career as an entrepreneur, he helped start Mpath, the first peer-to-peer multiplayer game service and VoIP service, and managed its growth from inception to IPO. He was an early pioneer in the Internet at eWorld, where he helped architect the spinout of Apple's Internet and EDI Services business. Previous to that, Perry was part of the startup team at Xilinx where he helped spur the adoption of field programmable gate arrays. Perry has also served in technical roles at IBM's Almaden Research Center and Andersen Consulting.
Perry holds an MBA from Harvard Business School [ [http://www.hbs4a.org/board_of_directors.html Harvard Business School Asian American Alumni Association - Board of Directors ] ] and received a BS in Electrical Engineering with Honors from Stanford University.
