Hayley Palmer (born
8 May ,1989 ) is a swimmer who representedNew Zealand at the2008 Beijing Olympic Games . She currently swims for North Shore Swimming Club inAuckland ,New Zealand .Born in New Zealand Palmer moved to
Cheltenham ,England at the age of three and began swimming there before returning to New Zealand in 2007. Palmer was selected for the New Zealand Olympics squad as a part of the Women's 4x200m freestyle relay in March 2008. The relay team were disqualified in the heats of the 4 x 200m Freestyle Relay in the
2008 Beijing Olympics . Palmer swam the third leg, and her teammate swimming the fourth and final leg of the race was deemed to be a flyer (which is to say, a swimmer who dives off the diving block before their teammate has finished their leg).wimming Records
