Vaccine (Christine Clements) is a female dubstep producer based in California, USA [ [http://www.timeout.com/london/clubs/features/5005/Women_in_dubstep.html Women in dubstep - Time Out London ] ] . Her influence in the genre is notable not only for her recognizable tightly constructed melodies, but also because she was the first signed female in the relatively new sound. In 2006, she signed on to well known label Hotflush Recordings, and is currently in the process of recording her first full length album, which should see release in late 2008.
