Edward Steers, Jr.

Edward Steers, Jr. is an American historian specializing in the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln. [cite web | url = http://www.loc.gov/loc/lincoln/steers-bio.html | title = Edward Steers, Jr. BIOGRAPHY | work = Library of Congress | accessdate = 2006-08-28] Steers worked as a research scientist at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda for thirty years until he retired in 1994 and started a new career as a writer. He is the author of a number of books, including "Blood on the Moon: The Assassination of Abraham Lincoln", "The "Quotable" Lincoln" and "Lincoln: A Pictorial History".
