Sheila Bilyeu

She ran for U.S. Senate as an independent in Oklahoma in 2004, winning 5.99 percent (86,663 votes) of the vote in a three-way race against Tom Coburn (R) and Brad Carson (D). [http://www.uselectionatlas.org/RESULTS/state.php?fips=40&year=2004&f=0&off=3&elect=0]

In 1986, Bilyeu was a candidate in the Democratic primary for Texas Governor against incumbent Mark White. She won 4 percent of the vote.Fact|date=August 2007

Bilyeu has filed numerous lawsuits against the federal government -- all dismissed by the courts -- in which she demanded the removal of a radio-like device that the military allegedly planted in her head in the 1970s. [http://www.politics1.com/greens04a.htm]
