It was released on July 15, 1996 for Sick Wid It Records and Jive Records, distributed by Priority Records and was produced by the Funk Mobb, D-Shot, K-Lou, Kevin Gardner, Levitti, Redwine, PSD and Studio Ton. "It Ain't 4 Play" gained minor success, peaking at #46 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and #28 on the Top Heatseekers. One single was released entitled "I Wanna See Ya", but it did not make it on any Billboard charts.
