- Robert Isaac Field
Robert I. Field chairs the Department of Health Policy and Public Health at
University of the Sciences in Philadelphia . His research and publications cover many areas of health care regulation, including managed care, pharmaceutical regulation, genetic screening, and health system structure. He is also a senior fellow of the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics at theUniversity of Pennsylvania and a member of the adjunct faculty of the Wharton School.Previously, he served as director of planning and physician practice acquisitions for the
University of Pennsylvania Health System , as a health care attorney for a major Philadelphia law firm, and as a member of the research staff of the Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences.Prof. Field received his undergraduate degree from
