Gemma Mary Spofforth (born November 17, 1987 in Shoreham-by-Sea, United Kingdom) is a British backstroke swimmer.

Spofforth finished fourth in the 100 m backstroke swimming event and is due to represent Great Britain at the 2008 Summer Olympics in the 200 m backstroke swimming event.
