Aminah bint Wahb

Aminah bint Wahab (ArB|آمنة بنت وهب ArTranslit|ʼĀminah bint Wahab)(???-577) was the mother of the Islamic prophet Muhammad.

Biography

She was the daughter of Wahb ibn `Abd Manaf, and was married to Abdallah ibn Abd al-Muttalib. There are also texts which claim that Aminah bint Wahb died in a trip to Medina while she took Muhammad to meet his uncles and to see the grave of his father. Aminah died in 577.
