Campion College

Campion College is an Australian Roman Catholic dedicated Liberal Arts college. It is a located at Austin Woodbury Place, Old Toongabbie in the western suburbs of Sydney, approximately 45 minutes the central business district of Sydney, Australia. It is the first tertiary educational liberal arts college of its type in Australia and had its first intake of students in February 2006.

It aims to educate to contribute to the life of the Catholic Church and Australian society. It plans to seek university status in the future and is initially providing a Bachelor of Arts in the Liberal Arts. Eligible students have access to FEE-HELP loans for tuition fees. Approval was recently granted to enrol international students at the College. The College will introduce postgraduate education in courses such as education and journalism. The first of these will be an initial teacher education course for secondary school teachers, which is likely to commence in 2009 or 2010. This course is planned to be a graduate entry Bachelor of Teaching with a Master of Teaching option. It will allow graduates with sufficient content studies in a previous degree to learn how to teach English, History, English as a Second Language (ESL) or Religious Education in secondary schools.There is also a school by the same name in the island of Jamaica.
