"Je vous aime adieu" is the name of a 1996 song recorded by the French singer Hélène Ségara. It was her first single from her debut album, "Cœur de verre", and her second single overall. Released in April 1996, it was a success in France and Belgium, even if it failed to reach the top ten.

The text was written by Hélène Segara and Christian Vié, while the music was composed by Thierry Geoffroy and Christian Loigerot. The b-side is Ségara's debut single, "Loin", released in 1993, but which was a relative failure (it didn't reach the charts).

"Je vous aime adieu" was performed during Ségara's first tour and thus is available on the live album "En concert à l'Olympia", as sixth track on the first CD. It was included on Ségara's 2004 compilation "Le Best of" (17th track).

Chart performances

In France, the single started at #34 on April 27, 1996. It gained a few places almost every week and finally reached a peak of #13 in its 12th week.
