Tupelo is the second single by Australian rock band Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds and the first and only single from the album The Firstborn Is Dead. The song was written by Barry Adamson, Nick Cave and Mick Harvey. The a-side was recorded in December 1984 at the Hansa Ton Studios in Berlin, Germany. The b-side, "The Six Strings That Drew Blood", was recorded in March 1985 at the Trident Studios in London. The single was released on the 29th of July 1985.
