John Herlihy

John Ahmed Herlihy is an author of books and articles on the subjects of Islam, the modern world, and Ayurveda.

Biography

Born in Boston, Massachusetts to an Irish-American family, Herlihy was raised a devout Catholic and studied at a Paulist seminary. He converted to Islam while teaching in the Middle East; an experience he has written about in several of his books (including "In Search of the Truth".)

He currently resides in the United Arab Emirates where he works as a lecturer. He is the author of several books and often contributes articles to magazines, including the traditionalist journals "Sacred Web" and "Sophia".
