Gingerjake is a rock band from Minneapolis, Minnesota. The name "Gingerjake" comes from a moonshine Ginger Jake during Prohibition [Gingerjake "The DVD"] . After forming in November of 2002 and playing only seven shows together, they placed 2nd in 93X's Battle Of The Bands and got to play at Summerfest. In 2004, they returned to the 93X Battle Of The Bands and won a main stage slot at 93X Riverfest. At the cd release party of their Get It/Get Off Live album they packed The Rock Nightclub with over 400 people [ [http://www.riftmagazine.com/00_web_stories/00gingerjake.shtml Rift Magazine] ] . Their Paralysis EP was released independently in March 2004 after traveling to Orange County California and meeting Producer/Engineer Cameron Webb.
