Egmont H. Petersens Kollegium

Egmont H. Petersens Kollegium

Egmont H. Petersens Kollegium is a hall of residence in Copenhagen with rooms for 492 students, located near Fælledparken in the Indre Østerbro district of the city. Egmont H. Petersen was the founder of the Egmont media group.

Egmont is made up of three buildings, "Old", "Middle" and "New", referring to the order in which they were built. Each building has eight floors (of which two of the ground floors are used by the administration and a ballroom).

Egmont was inaugurated on May 16, 1957, after four years of construction work. In the early years, the students were evicted in the summer holiday and the buildings were used as a hotel.
