BeatTheTraffic.com is a nationwide service operated by "Triangle Software" based in Campbell, California. Beat The Traffic was founded in 2001 by CEO Andre Gueziec with the launch of the website sfbaytraffic.info. Information compiled from numerous public and private sources is used to provide real-time traffic information and maps for most major US cities. ["No Jam Tomorrow?" The Economist 15 Sept. 2005.] In 2005, Beat The Traffic entered the broadcasting industry with the release of Beat The Traffic 3D, a three-dimensional animated map displaying traffic flow, roadwork, and accidents.
