"12 Play" is the second album released by R&B musician R. Kelly. Released in the fall of 1993, the album established him as a force in the urban music world just as he had left his band, Public Announcement. The album features the unsubtle bedroom anthems, "Bump & Grind" (his first U.S. #1) and "Your Body's Calling" (U.S. #13). It also featured the more overtly direct "Sex Me, Pts. 1 & 2" (U.S. #20). "Bump N' Grind" is featured on Grand Theft Auto IV's fictional radio station The Vibe 98.8.

This album was the first of a tetralogy of albums Kelly later released under the "12 Play" moniker including "TP-2.com" (2000) "" (2005) and the soon to be released "" (2008).
