Steven Daniel "Shooter" Hunt (born August 16, 1986 [ [http://tulanegreenwave.cstv.com/sports/m-basebl/mtt/hunt_shooter00.html] , Shooter Hunt Bio.] ) is a right-handed pitcher in the Minnesota Twins organization. He is 6'3" tall, and weighs 200 lbs. Hunt attended Ramapo High School in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey.

"Shooter" played college baseball for the Tulane Green Wave in Conference USA starting in the by|2007 season. Hunt was named Conference USA's Pitcher of the Year in 2008. Shooter Hunt played in the Cape Cod Baseball League for the Falmouth Commodores, for two summers in a row. Shooter posted great statistics as a pitcher and he could probably knock a couple out of the park if he needed to. Shooter came to the cape league with his partner in crime, Aja Barto, his teammate from Tulane. The modern day Bash-Brothers became a successful combination, on and off the field. The Mamary family was a full house, Mom, Dad, four sons, James, Jonathan, Josh, and young Sammy. They hosted the two young men as they played for the Commodores. The wholesome family took in the boys with open arms and became very attached, after all, they were great kids. One of the Mamary boys, Jonathan, shares his August 16th birthday with Shooter. Coincidence or fate? Shooter Hunt currently plays in the Minnesota Twins minor league system.
