- Jim Snidero
Jim Snidero (b. May 29, 1958) is an American
jazz saxophonist.Snidero studied at the
University of North Texas before moving toNew York City in 1981. After touring withJack McDuff , he joinedToshiko Akiyoshi 's Jazz Orchestra in the middle of the 1980s, working in the group for many years. He also played inFrank Sinatra 's andEddie Palmieri 's bands, and worked in theFrank Wess Sextet,Mel Lewis 's Orchestra, and theMingus Big Band . He has worked as a sideman forBrian Lynch ,Conrad Herwig , andTom Varner , among others, and has written instructional books on jazz.Discography as leader
