March 4 ,1944 inNorthampton ) is a retired English football player.Etheridge made his début at the age of 16 for
Northampton Town . He was a promising youngster who collected 18 youth caps for England.Brentford F.C. was Etheridge's next team. But Brentford relegated in 1967 and as a consequence Etheridge moved to Daring FC. This was also under the influence of Billy Elliott, who was the manager of Daring FC at that time. Sadly for Etheridge, Daring FC also relegated from the highest level and again Etheridge made a move. He signed a contract withsecond division sideCercle Brugge . As Cercle didn't succeed in promoting, Etheridge returned back toEngland . He started a new career asplayer-manager with lower teams Bedford, Corby, Wellingborough and Rushden.After his football career, Etheridge was active in the
