cc=The Orange Stinger is an off the shelf Zierer Wave Swinger swing spinner in Paradise Pier at Disney's California Adventure. Themed to bees in an orange, the original bumblebee seats were removed within the first year due to extreme damage to the bee shells. Since then the seats were normal unthemed swing seats. Initially an orange scent effect was sprayed into the attraction making the ride smell like a 'real' orange, but was later removed for it attracted real bees. The giant orange is a tribute to the Orange fields that Disneyland was built on, as well as Orange County, where the Disneyland Resort is located. Future plans suggest the ride will undergo a re-theming and become "Silly Symphony Swings" as part of the $1.1 billion renovation of California Adventure [http://www.screamscape.com/html/disney_s_california_adventure.htm]
