Chopin

A visitor to Szafarnia, in his early teens, was Frédéric Chopin, who was a guest there of Prince Antoni Radziwiłł. From Szafarnia Chopin wrote home his famous "Kuriery Szafarskie" (Szafarnia Courier) letters that spoofed the Warsaw newspapers and demonstrated young Chopin's literary talent.
