Shanaischara Temple Hassan

= Introduction =

This Temple is under construction and estimated construction cost of this temple is around INR 150 Million and approximate market cost of the plot would be around INR 6.5 Million. This temple is located in one the posh locality in Hassan, India. The plot dimension for the temple is
125 X 135 ft and approachable from all the four sides with a 30 ft wide road.

Shanaischara’s temple

Shanaischara’s temple is built in octagonal shape with Vimanagopuram of 35ft tall, Shanaischara (Shani) statue is of 7 ½ ft tall (5 ½ ft statue + 2 ft peeta).

Navagraha Temple

First time in karnataka, this temple has individual Garbhagudi with goparam for each Graha. Each garbagudi consists of Garha Dhampathi with Vahana and respective Navagraha plant

Suryanarayana

:Suryanarayana statue is 4 ¾ ft (3 ¾ ft statue + 1 ft peeta) with 11ft gopura.

Chandra

:Chandra statue is 3 ½ ft tall (2 ½ ft statue + 1 ft peeta) with 6 ft gopura.

Mangala

:Mangala statue is 3 ½ ft tall (2 ½ ft statue + 1 ft peeta) with 6 ft gopura.

Budha

:Budha statue is 3 ½ ft tall (2 ½ ft statue + 1 ft peeta) with 6 ft gopura.

Guru

:Guru statue is 3 ½ ft tall (2 ½ ft statue + 1 ft peeta) with 6 ft gopura.

Shukra

:Shukra statue is 3 ½ ft tall (2 ½ ft statue + 1 ft peeta) with 6 ft gopura.

Shani

:Shani statue is 3 ½ ft tall (2 ½ ft statue + 1 ft peeta) with 6 ft gopura.

Rahu

:Rahu statue is 3 ½ ft tall (2 ½ ft statue + 1 ft peeta) with 6 ft gopura.

Ketu

:Ketu statue is 3 ½ ft tall (2 ½ ft statue + 1 ft peeta) with 6 ft gopura.

Other Temples

This temple also consists of individual garbhagudi for Mahaganapathi (Ganapathi), Subramanya (Murugan) , Maruthi & Gayathri devi.

Kailasaparvata

The highlight of the temple is 48 ft Kailasaparvata (Mount Kailash) with the statue of Shiva & Parvathi.

Other Facilities:

Has community hall, which can be used for the public purpose at nominal rates.Prathana mandir of 30x 100 ft, Quartos for the temple staff, Pasada mandira and Office Room for "administrative purpose"

Status & Inauguration

As on 1-June-2008, 60% of the work has been completed

The inauguration of the temple is likely to be on Karthika Maasa of Sarvadhari Samvatsara (October 2008).
