- Peary Channel
The Peary Channel is a
waterway in the territory ofNunavut . It is an arm of theArctic Ocean , and it spreads southeast betweenMeighen Island to the north,Axel Heiberg Island to the east,Amund Ringnes Island to the southeast,Ellef Ringnes Island to the south. The channel is approximately convert|193|km|mi|abbr=on long and convert|97|km|mi|abbr=on wide.
