Nathalie Archangel is a Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter who began her career with a self-titled debut album on CBS, followed by her 2nd Lp, "Owl", on MCA. During this period, she worked with the best of the best producers (from David Kahne to Don Was) and collaborators (including Steely Dan's Walter Becker, Mark Isham, Howard Jones, Frankie Valli, and American Idol's Randy Jackson). She also loaded up her CDs with smashes, among them the irresistibly catchy singles "Mr. Perfect for Me", "I Can't Reach You" and "So Quiet, So Still." Alas, with intracorporate synergy at an all-time low, her hits were missed by all but a devoted core of converts, spellbound by what they sampled on the radio and in record stores. The press -- even finicky Rolling Stone -- had embraced her, but without the concentrated support of her labels' marketing teams, the big breakthrough for which she seemed destined remained elusive. cite web
