Frikateers

Frikateers is an Anglo-German two-headed band formed in 2003, combining the efforts of Magdalena (Christoph Völker) and Amether (Stefan Inglis). The style is a combination of electronic and acoustic instruments, and can be compared to bands such as Hood, The Notwist and Radiohead.

They have released two EPs, 'The Physics of Soud' in 2004 and '1068km Bee-Line' in 2005.

While not signed to a major label, Frikateers are linked with Open Records and doubledotdash.
