Subjects studied at Killara High School include English, mathematics,
science ,geography ,history ,music ,sport ,language - German, French,Hebrew , Chinese and Japanese and a huge range of electives.The school has an enrolment policy which involves an area inclusive zone. Students seeking enrolment out of the area must fill out an out of area form in the school website. Suburbs in the inclusive zone include West Gordon, Gordon, East Gordon, St Ives, East Killara, Killara, West Killara, West Lindfield, Lindfield, East Lindfield and Roseville. Due to excessive enrolment numbers, enrolment is hard with the school currently at full capacity. The current high enrolment numbers at Killara is testament of the outstanding performance of year 12 students in the HSC.
