M'Juhdara

M'Juhdara

M'Juhdara is an Arab dish typically made of rice, lentils, onions and chicken stock; it is often seasoned with salt and pepper and cooked with butter or olive oil. It is considered a "poor man's food" as it is often a substitute for more expensive sources of protein, such as lamb or beef. M’Juhdara is most commonly eaten by people from the Levant.
