The Stonemason (play)

The Stonemason (play)

The Stonemason is a play in five acts by Cormac McCarthy. It concerns an African-American family. The play is rarely produced and has so far received little critical attention (beyond those articles cited in the bibliography below).

McCarthy is an award-winning novelist, though his plays and screenplays have not fared as well. However, others have successfully adapted his novels for the screen.
