Keith Andre Edmonson (born September 28, 1960 in
Gulfport, Mississippi ) is an American former professional basketball player in theNBA .A 6-5 guard with high-time shooting ability, he was part of the Purdue Boilermakers team that reached the NCAA final four in 1980, alongside with
Joe Barry Carroll . He scored 21.3 points per game in his senior year and was named Academic All-American.He was selected 10th overall in the
1982 NBA Draft by theAtlanta Hawks , averaging 6 points in a 87 games career with the Hawks, theSan Antonio Spurs and theDenver Nuggets .He pursued a professional career in France, Belgium and Spain.
Now, Edmonson is a players' agent and holds youth basketball summer camps in the San Antonio Area.
