Bob Smith (left-handed pitcher)

Robert Gilchrist Smith (February 1, 1931 in Woodsville, New Hampshire), is a retired professional baseball player who played pitcher in the Major Leagues from by|1955-by|1959. Hr batted and threw right-handed. Smith made his major league debut on April 29, 1955. He played for the Boston Red Sox, Pittsburgh Pirates, St. Louis Cardinals, and Detroit Tigers throughout his baseball career.
