- M5 Bayonet
The M5 Bayonet was adopted by the U.S. Military in 1953 to replace the
M1 Bayonet for theM1 Garand rifle . It uses the M8A1 scabbard and is very simlilar to theM6 Bayonet for theM14 rifle .
