Beyond Belief III

Beyond Belief: Candles in the Dark was the third in an annual series of conversations (Beyond Belief): an ongoing project to foster and promote the use of reason in formulating social policy. Participants were asked to propose a Candle - a potential solution to a problem that they have identified in their area of expertise or informed passion. This event was organized by The Science Network and was held on October 3 - 6, 2008 at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies in La Jolla, California.
