Leng Mei

Leng Mei (Chinese: 冷枚), a native Jiaozhou (now Jiaoxian, Shangdong), is a famed Chinese painter in Qing Dynasty, active 1677-1742 (his specific years of birth and death are not known)cite web|url=http://www.britishmuseum.org/explore/highlights/highlight_objects/asia/l/leng_mei,_portrait_of_a_lady,.aspx|title=British Museum works of Leng Mei|accessdate=2008-09-12] . His courtesy name was Jichen, and sobriquet Jinmen Waishi, or Jinmen Shushi. He was Jiao Bingzhen's student. Some of his works now reside at the National Palace Museum.
