NoteScribe is a Microsoft Windows based hierarchal organization notetaking software designed for school, business, and at home. Developed for students and business people, NoteScribe, a digital organizational tool, is a way to categorize and archive information; notes (typed or handwritten), pictures, graphics, photos and even audio/video recordings. With NoteScribe, information is stored and accessed by categories, sources, and key words.

NoteScribe can be used by undergraduate students, graduate students and professors for completing research, as well as tracking notes in the classroom and from textbooks. NoteScribe assists users in compiling their research and information into one organized application, in a hierarchical category tree containing levels and sub-levels. Notes are arranged for users by Category, Sources, and Keywords. Additionally, NoteScribe contains a Global Search Function designed to search through all of a user's notes for words or phrases.

NoteScribe also assists students and professors with creating sources and bibliographies. After the information is inputted for a source, users have a source and bibliography generated in APA Style, AMA Style, MLA Style, and many other frequently used citation formats.

NoteScribe is developed by Higher Symmetry Software. It has a free 30-day trial, after which the user is prompted to buy a $21 registration key.
