- Kristapor Araratov
Kristapor Gerasimovich Araratov (1876 - 1937) was an
Armenia n military commander, General (1919), and was the Military Minister of Armenia from March 1919 to April 1920.Araratov was born in
Araratian . He studied inTbilisi , then atSaint-Petersburg 's Mikhailovsky college, theTsarskoe Selo Officer's school, and at the Military Academy after Frunze. During theFirst World War he commanded a brigade of the Armenian Separate corps, participated to theBattle of Sardarapat .
