May 25 1903 inCrewkerne ,Somerset ,United Kingdom diedMay 13 ,1982 atBourne End, Buckinghamshire .Awarded CBE (1959) and MBE (Military Division) (1943) for service in RAF Intelligence.
In 1971 Reader was made a member of the UK entertainment charity, the
Grand Order of Water Rats .Reader was awarded the
Bronze Wolf , the only distinction of theWorld Organization of the Scout Movement , awarded by the World Scout Committee for exceptional services to world Scouting, in 1975.Choreographer, lyricist, director and producer (both theatre and television), Scouter.
