Emerson is a multi-instrumentalist and original member of the music line-up of the
neo-psychedelic rock band, Spindrift [http://www.somasomascene.com/spindrift.html] . Along with members;Rob Campanella , Bobby Bones (fromPsychic TV ), Dave Koenig and band leader, Kirpatrick Thomas, the band took on a new music direction to that of their original experimental style; playingpsychedelic music inspired by the spirit of the Old West as mythologized by Western Cinema,Spaghetti Westerns in particular.The Brian Jonestown Massacre
Emerson joined The BJM in March, 2000, and is best known for being a current
guitarist for theneo-psychedelic rock band,The Brian Jonestown Massacre , for which he is notable for his twelve-string guitar and various other contributions, playing lead guitar on the song "When Jokers Attack", as well as others.He is currently participating in The BJM's 2008 world tour.
