- U.S. Army Prime Power Program
Under AR 700-128, the Chief of Engineers is given the responsibilty of providing emergency and mobilization, utility grade power to DOD and Federal Agencies through the Prime Power Program. Direction of the Prime Power Program is given to the Commander of the 249th Engineer Battalion (Prime Power) which encompasses the Prime Power School and the Prime Power Generator Program.
