tudent life
The Thornhill Secondary School Student Government is called "B.O.S.S." (Board Of Student Senators). BOSS runs a number of events each year, most notably the school dances, the yearly carnival, BOSS retreat, Semi-Formal and numerous other Spirit Events. BOSS, as well provides funding for all of the clubs at the school. It acts as an umbrella organization which oversees all club activities.
One of the most active clubs beside BOSS is the Social Justice League (formerly known as the History Advisory Board). It's role is to run socio-cultural awareness campaigns like the Remembrance Day assembly, Walk against Male Violence and Montreal Massacre Memorial.
